Digital Fabric GSM Tester
GSM BOT reads the GSM of fabric — and only fabric — without a round cutter. Computer vision measures the area of whatever shape you place on the pan while the balance weighs it, so any offcut of at least 10 cm² gives an accurate reading for knits, hosiery and woven material in seconds.
Measures any offcut of 10 cm² or more — no round sample needed.
Against 3–5% typical deviation from hand-cut circular samples.
Shows GSM, measured area and net weight together on screen.
Made for fabric testing — knits, hosiery and woven material.
Applications
Built for textile mills, garment units and fabric quality labs that need dependable GSM checks.

FAQs
Textiles only — knits, hosiery and woven fabric. Material thicker than about 3mm (lamb wool, long-haired velvet, coral fleece, thick carpet, faux fur), open fabrics such as mesh and lace, and transparent material are not recommended.
It reads weight to 0.01 g and measures sample area with a 1.5% error rate. A hand-cut circular sample typically carries 3–5% area deviation, so GSM BOT is usually the more accurate of the two.
No. GSM BOT recognises the outline of any shape, so an ordinary offcut works as long as it is at least 10 cm² and 0.1 g. Trim loose threads and lay it flat on the pan; a glass cover plate is supplied for curled or creased fabric.
Level the unit using the adjustable feet until the bubble is centred, allow about 15 minutes to warm up, then check it against the supplied standard weight and recalibrate if the reading has drifted.
Yes. GSM BOT's compact, durable design suits both the fabric testing lab and on-floor quality checks in a textile or garment unit.
